Transcript Requests
Please READ before requesting transcripts: Rank is run after the 20th day at the start of the school year, then again after the 20th day of second semester. Please wait to submit your transcript requests until schedules are finalized and rank is updated.
NOTE: School Counselors do not mail or e-mail transcripts to colleges and universities, please follow the process outlined below.
► Applying to colleges through Common App/Common Black College App or Coalition App?
Invite your counselor by entering their email address and your counselor will upload your transcript. Double check with your counselor to be sure they received your request. Counselors will prioritize requests by application deadline and will upload your transcript after the updated semester rank has been run.
NOTE: Students are still required to send their transcript through their CFNC account for all North Carolina Colleges/Universities even when the counselor has/will upload it to the portal.
► Applying to college in NC not through Common/Coalition/Common Black College App, etc.?
Student requests transcript through CFNC: www.cfnc.org. Log into CFNC, click on "Apply to College", then "Application Hub", then select "Request a Transcript" and choose from the drop-down list of colleges. You can also request one at the same time you complete your college application through CFNC. (SEE BELOW FOR "HOW TO" VIDEO)
► Applying to college Out-of-State?
Student requests transcript through WCPSS website: https://wcpss.scriborder.com/.
Click on the first link on the left that reads "current student,” then follow the prompts. Be sure to provide the college admissions office address for the Delivery Address - NOT YOUR HOME ADDRESS. Transcripts that are mailed usually arrive within 7-10 days.
► Applying for scholarships?

► Potential College Athlete (NCAA)?
Register with the NCAA Clearinghouse: https://web3.ncaa.org/ecwr3/, then e-mail Ms. Myers ([email protected]) to provide her with your NCAA ID so she can upload your transcript to the High School Portal.
NOTE: Transcript requests from college coaches must be accompanied with a signed release from the parent, or the student (18 or older). Only an unofficial transcript will be released.
► Applying to a Career and College Promise (CCP) Program at WTCC?
Use: https://wcpss.scriborder.com/. Click on Current High School Student on the left-hand side. Complete the form and under “Select the Information Type(s) Requested,” choose College and Career Promise (Electronic Copy).
► Do you need an UNOFFICIAL transcript?
Seniors will receive a copy of their transcript during their Senior Meeting with their counselor. After that time, you may submit your request here (available only when school is in session). A PDF of your transcript will be sent to your WCPSS student e-mail. Please allow 3-5 school days for processing.
► Final Transcripts (Senior End of the Year Transcript):
All seniors will be responsible for sending their final transcript to the school they will be attending when they graduate.

►Sending Test Scores?
Colleges and universities must receive SAT and ACT scores directly from www.collegeboard.org or www.actstudent.org. The Student Services Office does not send any test scores to colleges or universities.
