North CAROLINA governor's school
JUNIORS and select SOPHOMORES…
Are you interested in a summer residential program designed to spark your intellectual curiosity? No tests…no grades…lifelong friendships…
Governor’s School is an exceptional summer experience for academically, intellectually and artistically gifted students. The program is held on college campuses and lasts four (4) weeks. Teachers nominate current 11th graders in English, Math, Science, Social Studies, Spanish, Art, Drama, Dance, and Vocal/Instrumental Music.. Current 10th graders can only be nominated in Choral Music, Instrumental Music, and Dance. Students may also self nominate. There is a rigorous screening process for the applicants since Wake County can send only a limited number of students. View the Eligibility Requirements for NC Governor's School.
Additional information can be found on official NC Governor’s School website
